Top Ten Series I'd Like To Start But Haven't Yet:
I didn't think I would be able to come up with ten, but I ended up cutting some from my list! ("Matched" and "Legend" for example)

I really need to get started on this one since I actually have all three books!
2. The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
3. Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
I have at least the first one sitting on my shelf... (UPDATE: I have read the first one now! As of 6/21/2013)
4. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
I think I have the first three or maybe even four in this series...
5. Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan
6. Temeraire by Naomi Novik
I have three or four of these books as well.

Yep I see a theme :) My TTT came out quite theme focused as well. I've read the first book of Ender series (twice, even), I love Martin's series and His Dark Materials was also very enjoyable. Like you, I too want to read Wheel of Time and The Dark Tower. Happy reading :)
I LOVE the theme.
I read the first of the Inheritance Cycle and couldn't get into it... but that was before I really took to fantasy, so I'm rather tempted to try it again.
Regarding George R.R. Martin, depends on whether you like gritty, brutally realistic writing. And I mean gritty & brutal. Not to say he can't write well & compellingly. Just gritty & brutally, if I haven't mentioned that yet. :)
