Great list! The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is one of my favourites.

Thanks Loni! I cracked up laughing all the way through that one for sure!

Oh wow, you finally got to some really classic authors. Awesome!

I love all of these that I've read, though Card is a jerk now, sadly.

Ooh, some of my favorites! Orson Scott Card is my literary hero (and I'm a bit startled by the accusation that he's "a jerk"; the usual complaint is that he doesn't favor the public endorsement of homosexual relationships, but the two or three of his pieces I've read on the subject are pretty nuanced and thoughtful, as well as containing some unpopular but honest wisdom.) I've never read Enchantment, and I should.

Hitchhiker is hilarious, and I adore the Inkheart books. I should read more Nesbit; I liked the one of hers I read. And The Little Prince is on my to-read-very-soon list.

Great list!

I wasn't sure what was meant by the "jerk" comment. Perhaps it was in response to what you mentioned, I simply don't know. I hope to read the Ender's Game books soon!

Thanks for your comment! It's fun to meet kindred literary souls :-)

I should've noted that the 'jerk' point was in reference to another commenter and not your post.

And yes, it is fun to meet kindred literary souls! We seem to like an impressive number of the same books, which makes me want to read everything else on this list. :)

Thanks for stopping by my TTT.

Suzanne Collins and The Hunger Games is a must read. She would have been on my list when I originally read those.
